Hindi Keyboard ( Inscript )

Inscript (short for Indic) keyboard is standardized by Government of India for Brahmic scripts and santali language. Inscript keyboard is standard keyboard for 12 indian langauage for Hindi, Gurmukhi, Gujrati, Kannada, Odiya, Malayalam, Tamil and others. The first Inscript keyboard was Standardized in 1986 under DOE ( Department of Electronics ).
Great thing about Inscript keyboard is if a person know Devanagari keyboard layout, he can type in any other Indic scripts just by dictation. Because most Indic scripts have same phonetic character order.The inscript keyboard layout is built into most major operating systems like Windows, OS, Linux.

How to Use Hindi Keyboard:

Suppose you want to type 'त्व', First press 'त' then ' ् ' after that press 'व'. One more example, If you want to type 'दिनॉंक' first press 'द' then ' ि' after that press 'न', after that press ' ॉ ' after that press 'क'. In Inscript keyboard all keys have two symbols imprinted on them to type lower symbol only press that key but for upper symbol first press and hold SHIFT key and press that key.
